He authored WHV’s WW Merchandising Operations Guide of “Best in Class” merchandising strategies across all aspects of in store merchandising including sourcing, negotiating, the merchandising processes including tasks, flow, reporting and data capture, etc. used by WHV throughout the world. Allan is also WHV’s WW Global Resource, consulting on all aspects of culturally diverse WW merchandising needs. Allan was instrumental in introducing, the now industry standard, use of hand held computers for in-store data capture and reporting and creating WHV’s “IMPACT” team responsible for auditing WHV’s 3RD Party Merchandising execution domestically. Allan’s merchandising knowledge is built on vast retail experience including: Buying, Automatic Replenishment Systems Management, Store Management including Electronics and Movies, Human Resources and Operations Management in environments from High Fashion to Discount thanks to Dayton/Hudson/Marshall Fields Department Store Corporation and Target Stores. |
