Mark Gallardo, Principle Consultant, has worked with a variety of leading retail corporations, aligning strategic objectives with technology solutions to provide a differentiated competitive advantage. He provides thought-leadership on large-scale strategic projects emphasizing the businesses ability to leverage technology to acquire, develop, evaluate, and effectively respond to Key Performance Indicators.
Mark has over twenty years of diverse retail experience, including roles at the executive management level. His first-hand knowledge of the industry provides a solid foundation for developing comprehensive enterprise-wide technology roadmaps focused on measuring progress towards strategic objectives. The scope of these projects range from the design of Enterprise Business Intelligence frameworks to Supply Chain solutions focused on reducing out-of-stocks, improving inventory turns and increasing customer loyalty. Many of these projects include a comprehensive business case, documentation of gaps in critical business informational requirements, as well as potential return on investment. Prior to joining Teradata, Mark’s experience encompassed both retail and wholesale operations and merchandising management, with Dayton Hudson Corporation (Target Stores Inc.), Federated Department Stores, May Department Stores, and Yohan USA; including Divisional Merchandise Manager, Director of Merchandise Planning & Allocation, Director of Operations, President, and Managing Director. In addition, Mark has led numerous special projects resulting in increased revenues, improved profitability, reduced inventory levels, and measurable P&L improvements.
