Jim Bottoms - Co-Managing Director

Jim is a co-founder of Understanding & Solutions, which was established in 1987. He has close to thirty years' consulting experience in the consumer media, home and office electronics, data storage and music and video entertainment sectors.

Jim maintains a strong set of personal consulting and advisory relationships with a number of blue chip companies in the entertainment domain, including many of the key Hollywood studios and the world's leading optical disc manufacturers.

His current private client advisory work includes a strong focus on the development of entertainment content across a variety of delivery platforms, including both packaged media and electronic delivery. He is considered to be an international expert on the music, video and entertainment markets and is a regular speaker at industry conferences worldwide.
