Jon Pershke, VP, Americas Supply Chain, is responsible for Lenovo’s end-to-end supply chain in the Americas.  He owns Americas’ logåistics, manufacturing, Customer Service (CSO) and the Customer Fulfillment organizations.  He is also responsible for the Americas’ supply chain cost and performance.  

Before joining Lenovo, Jon served as VP and GM Fulfillment Solutions for Celestica/MSL, a leader in the electronic manufacturing services (EMS) industry supporting name-brand electronics manufacturers (IBM, HP, etc.).  His division was an international provider of “last touch” supply chain services including assembly, customization, configuration, warehousing, order fulfillment, logistics and after-market services in support of regional customers.  This included establishing a greenfield fulfillment center in Mexico supporting high volume printer fulfillment.
Before Celestica/MSL, Jon was VP/GM at Solectron in Charlotte, NC, where he had complete responsibilities for P&L and customer management.  His key accomplishments included dramatic restructuring of the operation during the “tech bust” of 2001 and achievement of positive financial results while maintaining high employee morale.  He also worked as a VP, Director of Supply Chain for Solectron’s Eastern Region in Charlotte, where he was accountable for developing and executing supply chain strategies in procurement, logistics, asset management and IT systems.  Jon had a similar role for the Charlotte site operation before getting promoted to the regional job.

From 1984 to 1998, he worked at IBM in various supply chain and management positions including Development and Manufacturing Engineer, Site Quality Engineer, Supply Chain/Materials Planning Manager and Integrated Supply Chain Manager.

Jon has a Masters in Management of Technology degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.  He lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife and two daughters.
