Rentrak pioneered the tracking of home video rental transactions at the point-of-sale, and has since expanded its offerings as a business intelligence provider serving the information needs of the entertainment industry.
Allan Mclennan, Rentrak President, Advanced Media and Information Division, will make a presentation at the Entertainment Supply Chain Academy conference on ways to use technology to better manage uncertainties in the supply chain management of physical entertainment products and consumer goods.
Rentrak provides multi-window data to help customers make faster, more data driven decisions regarding their entertainment products.
Mclennan plans to discuss the importance of having quick access to accurate business intelligence in a highly automated environment that allows customers to measure and compare/contrast how various content properties are performing (in a variety of formats (i.e., box office, home video, VOD) across each window.
