In his current position as President of Intrepid Consulting Group, Mr. Aguilar is working with companies in the U.S. as well as Europe on Supply Chain issues and utilization of offshore resources for total channel management.

Prior to forming his own company Mr Aguilar was Executive Vice President of Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company. At Panasonic he was responsible for implementing a highly innovative Vendor Managed Inventory program with major retailers, a first in the traditional CE space. He was instrumental in converting Panasonic from a sell in company, to one driven by POS. He successfully directed an international team from the U.S., Japan and India, incorporating innovative predictive software to increase forecast accuracy. This lead to a dramatic reduction in weeks of supply for its retailers with an high level of instock products. Panasonic has set new standards in supply chain management and in teamwork relationships with consumer electronics retailers.

A veteran of the consumer electronics business, Mr. Aguilar had served Panasonic for 30 years in positions of increasing responsibilities, in sales, marketing, and product development, including President of Panasonic National Sales Company, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing for Panasonic Company, and Vice President and General Manager, Technics Audio Division.
