BIO: PAUL BRODY, PARTNER, BUSINESS CONSULTING SERVICES, IBM GLOBAL BUSINESS SERVICES

Paul Brody is a Partner with IBM Global Business Services and the leader of the global electronics industry strategy practice.  Since joining IBM in 2002, Brody has worked with leading electronics companies in the US, Europe, and Asia.  Brody has worked extensively in business strategy, supply chain management and, product life cycle management, including planning and scheduling, logistics, and procurement.

Brody has written extensively on business strategy and supply chain management.  Recent papers published by the IBM Institute for Business Value include an analysis of best practices in sales & operations planning and a strategy guide for cross-enterprise collaboration.  In 2005, Brody joined with colleagues from across IBM to write a book on leading practices for electronics companies, "Irresistible Electronics", published by the Financial Times press.

Prior to IBM, he held senior supply chain executive positions at ClearCross and i2 Technologies. He has also been a consultant with McKinsey & Co., primarily in the high-tech electronics sector in the United States and across the Asia Pacific region. Brody began his career in marketing at  Mobile Telecommunications Services Ltd., Nigeria's first cellular network operator.  Mr. Brody has a degree in economics and a certificate in African studies from Princeton University.
